After a 30 year plus career with the New York State Court System as a Law Librarian, I retired and became a Big Apple Greeter. Leading visitors from all over the US and the World through the City I love, I realized I wanted to do this as a new career.  Once I took the NYC licensing exam, I had a website created (www.walkinNY.com) and started posting walking tours I had researched.  It was very exciting to create walks all over the City and tell my guests the stories of the people, places and events that make New York City such a unique and special place.  I am also a staff volunteer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the last 14 years, giving me access to some of the greatest art in the World.  Additionally, I have been volunteering for 15 years with OpenHouseNY, the largest celebration of the built environment in America.
