Two roads diverged in a wood, and I — I took the one less traveled... And that has made all the difference.

About

I’m a tour director and naturalist. As a former travel editor I have traveled all over the world and experienced numerous kinds of tours, experiences, expeditions, and excursions. As a naturalist and former park ranger I’ve led interpretive hikes and docent tours in the San Francisco Bay Area, elk feeding tours  at Oregon’s Jewell Meadows Wildlife Area, and tide-pool tour for school kids at the California Academy of Sciences. I’ve participated in scientific studies in Yellowstone National Park, Sawtooth National Forest, and the Santa Cruz mountains. I’ve studied overseas in Germany, Jerusalem, and England. I’ve traveled across the U.S. by planes, trains, and automobiles; and lived in a solar powered RV, experienced the #VanLife, and own a tiny home.
