I started my tour guiding career designing and conducting multi-week/multi-site private tours throughout China and Taiwan, as well as for The China Institute in America and for the National Endowment for the Humanities. I have also taught at such institutions as The University of Chicago, Purchase College, The Dalton School, and The Asia Society. As a NYC tour guide, besides owning and operating my own small company (Big Apple Slices Tours), I have also been a contract tour guide for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Experience First, Inside Out Tours, WorldStrides, and Walks of New York. I currently serve as a Member-at-Large on the Executive Committee of the Guides Association of New York City (GANYC), as well as being a member of GANYC’s education and certification committees.
