About

Greetings! My name is Jazz and I love exploring new places and sharing what I learn with others. I have a YouTube series where I learn about Black History in Massachusetts and share it, called Black Gems Unearthed.

My background is in the tourism industry, arts & culture field, and higher education.  My undergraduate degree is in Tourism & Hospitality Management + Spanish, and I am now pursuing a Masters in Digital Marketing & Design.  I have spent 10+ years tour guiding and working in tour operations and product development.

The most unique tours I led were cheesesteak segway tours in Philly.  It was a delicious fun time!

I am familiar with the following destinations:

Boston, Salem, Portland ME, Burlington VT, Hudson River Valley, Philadelphia, Lancaster PA, Washington, DC, and Dorchester County Maryland

Fun Fact!
For Halloween one year, I turned my bike into a "unicorn bicycle" and rode it around Boston
Hobbies & Interests
When I am not guiding, I am most likely searching for the best donuts or chocolate around. To counteract my over indulgence, I like riding my bicycle around Greater Boston. I dabble in art for fun and I'm an active member of Toastmasters in Boston.

Virtual Tour Experience

I host a YouTube series about Black history around Massachusetts. And I have a virtual tour of Boston's black history during the colonial period.
