US GHOST ADVENTURES is seeking passionate and energetic storytellers to lead 90-120 minute walking tour groups downtown. This part-time position is ideal for self-motivated candidates looking for a fun way to make extra income! History buff, passionate about your city, or love ghosts but never been a tour guide? No problem!

This fun, flexible, and part-time job is for anyone who love to tell stories and can hold a captive audience.

We have plenty of resources, and some of the country’s best tour guides, to help you learn the ghost stories and deliver them in your own exciting way!

Already an awesome tour guide with another company? No problem–work for us too!

We love to find anyone who:

• Has performance, theater, and/or tour guide experience.
• Has a love for fun history–or any kind of history for that matter–and wants to make money telling stories
• Already tells stories for a living: we’ll make sure you get plenty of tours, plenty of tips, and plenty of cash bonuses for a job well done.
• Makes a great first impression and can jump right to being a Tour Guide Training Expert to make that extra couple hundred of Fun Money!

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Compensation is $75 – 150 per day/per tour including cash tips depending on the number of tours given per day.

Walking tours last approximately 1.5 – 2 hours, cover about 1-2 miles of ground, and have anywhere from 2 to 35 guests depending on the location. Guides must have the ability to walk/stand for the tour duration.

• Qualified candidates must be skilled in both customer service and public speaking.
• Tours operate year-round, seven days a week.
• Guides must be available to work a minimum of three days per week and we ask that they are willing to commit through the busy season to the end of the year and work some weekends
• For scheduling, guides must be able to provide their availability to work 3 to 4 weeks in advance.
• Applicants must reside near downtown (within 15 miles) and have reliable transportation.
• If required by the city, applicants must possess or be willing to attain a tour guide license in accordance with the city requirements.
