Reporting to the Operations Manager, our Road Rangers (Driver Guides) will be responsible for driving one of our mini-coaches or vans, providing excellent tour commentary and safety, and ultimately ensuring our passengers have the trip of a lifetime. We are looking for people to join our team who possess a great personality, a passion for travel, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities include:
- Efficiently maintain prepared tour schedule
- Passionately deliver commentary and stories to passengers throughout the tour
- Observe and follow all by-laws and rules of the road
- Daily guest and vehicle safety inspections and completion of driver & vehicle reports
- Prepare and know your tour schedule as well as road conditions
- Keep an electronic log
- Clean your vehicle after each shift
- Connect with people and maintain relationships
- Record digital and or live footage of your tour as assigned for Marketing purposes
- Communicate with operations how and when you will be returning tour (paperwork/receipts)
- Report any infractions/ accidents/ tickets or defect on vehicles to the Ops Manager ASAP
- Keep track your assigned schedule and possible changes
- Keep track of your expenses and summits receipts at the end of each trip
- Attend staff meetings and social events
- Available on weekdays, weekends and holidays between May and October
Qualifications & Skills
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Excellent organization, time management and communication skills
- Ability to solve problems and work under pressure
- Be able to respond to changing conditions or unexpected events in a calm manner
- Safe driving skills with an exemplary driving record
- Awareness of safety issues
- Flexibility required for shuttle services and transfers

- Commitment to continuous self improvement
- A passion for Canada and our wondrous landscape
- Be Tech Savvy – Knowledge of Social media postings and basic app use
- Knowledge of history and the geography of Western Canada and the N-West US an asset
- Ability to speak a second language is an asset – please indicate on resume
- Additional entertainment skills, for example musical abilities is a big asset, but not required
Experience and Certifications/Licenses required
- High School Diploma is required
- Previous experience in the capacity of a Tour Driver an asset but not required
- Degree or Diploma in a tourism program is an asset but not necessary
- Class 4 or Class 2 Unrestricted Driver’s License (In house Training available)
- Mechanical Skill set is an asset but not required
- First Aid Certificate is required
- Recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (Mandatory)
Additional Notes
- All potential hires are required to be able to get to departure points on their own.
- One of our major departure points is Canada Place in downtown Vancouver.

Payment Structure: Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications (to be discussed)
