I have been in the tourism field for 18 years. I love showing the ins and outs of Chicago, with my guests. Whether it is a walking tour, step on guide or just a meet-n-greet, my goal is to highlight what makes Chicago great. My family has lived in Chicago for 99 years, so I bring a very personal perspective, that you cannot find with other guides. I love to connect the past with the present and help people to understand how we got to where we are. Passion is my driving force. When I am on the road, whether it is Springfield, Il or Washington D.C., that same sense of passion comes through. History informs us about our past, helps us understand the present and guides us into the future.

I lead tours looking at various aspects of Chicago, from highlights, which cover the major things that guests want to see, to ethnic neighborhoods, ecclesiastical architecture, to tours catered to a family's history. I have created a tour that looks at the Great Migrations impact on Chicago. I also love to highlight the greater Chicagoland area, which could be anything from visiting Michael Jacksons childhood home, in Gary, Indiana to the Pabst Brewery, in Milwaukee Wisconsin. To help students better understand Abraham Lincolns impact on America, I've developed a Lincoln Heritage Tour that covers site in Kentucky, Illinois and Washington D.C. I am qualified to tour in Springfield, IL, Gettysburg, PA, and Washington D.C.

I drove a double decker bus in the parade celebrating the Cubs winning the World Series, in 2016!

Last week I went on my third tour in Chicago with Kevin of Wild Onion Walks. My first two tours with him had been private ones as I had specific goals in mind for researching historical novels set in the city. Last week, he led my group of 21 people on a fantastic tour that proved to be a highlight of the weekend. His knowledge is encyclopedic, his enthusiasm is contagious. He's professional, prompt, and always exceeds my expectations! I highly recommend him as a tour guide.

This was my second tour of downtown Chicago with Kevin of Wild Onion Walks...and he does NOT disappoint! His knowledge of the city and its history is so vast as he took us around the loop showing us important architecture and sites where events occurred in the history of Chicago. His communication in setting up the tour was very quick and at the end he gave us several recommendation's on where to eat . I highly recommend a tour with Kevin when you visit Chicago, he is the absolute best! Thanks Kevin for treating my family to an awesome tour and will see you the next time I am in Chicago!
