About

I was born in the Black Country, at the heart of England and university educated in Wales.  I have lived and worked London for over 30 years.  A lawyer husband and two children (junior doctor and archaeologist) – all London born and bred.

My professional background is in finance. A qualified accountant I was a Finance Director for the British Council, Britain’s leading international cultural relations organisation. I have travelled extensively for work and pleasure, worked closely with people of all cultures and have lived in France, Italy and India.

Being a London Tourist Guide is my second career.  I was introduced to guiding by my mother-in-law who qualified as a guide in 1960!  People comment on my enthusiasm as well as my professionalism.  I love guiding people of all ages.  I work mostly on private high end small group tours but I enjoy the variety offered by larger groups, school groups, families, conferences and incentives.
