Good Is The Enemy Of Great!

About

I lived on the East Coast for 50 years, spanning from Maryland to Florida. In 2016, we moved to Reno, Nevada.

In 2018, I began my semi-retirement and started working part-time at a winery. I hold multiple certifications in the wine industry and still work during harvest season at the winery. My background in the restaurant industry, where I worked for 22 years as a chef and in various serving positions, ignited my passion for providing excellent service by always going the extra mile. I currently teach cooking classes in my spare time.

I discovered my love for travel 15 years ago, and since then, it has become a significant priority in my life. The incredible places, people, culture, and food truly cannot be expressed in words. I find travel to be one of the most fulfilling experiences as I continue to grow in this fantastic world we live in.

Hobbies & Interests
• sharing what I have learned in the kitchen with others in my cooking classes, with the hope my guest will take the recipe and make it their own! • Researching and studying for my next personal or work trip is exciting; much of the thrill lies in the hunt. • Working out is an essential part of my daily routine, typically completed by 7:30 AM. This practice helps set a positive tone for the rest of my day, and I also make it a point to work out while I'm traveling.(when I am not crazy exhausted from a 14 hour day!)
