Born and raised in St. Andrews, I studied, lived and worked in various parts of the UK before settling back in the world-famous “Home of Golf” in 2015. Having successfully completed the STGA Blue Badge course in 2018 I am now thoroughly enjoying this change of career which brings the opportunity to share my passion for and knowledge of Scotland with visitors to our beautiful country. My earlier experiences as a clinical nurse, research nurse and wife of a diplomat mean that I am comfortable working with a wide range of people from a great variety of backgrounds and cultures. However, having lived for 7 years in the USA, I feel a particular connection with our American visitors. My special interests include golf and St. Andrews history, although I also have the flexibility and knowledge to travel across the whole of Scotland. I would be delighted to show you this wonderful country, and to work with you to ensure you get the very best from your trip. I am a firm believer that one size does NOT fit all, and reflect this in my approach to guiding.
