Born and raised in Washington D.C. as a daughter of a World Bank project manager and a pianist, I have always had a passion for travel, world cultures, history and the arts. As an adult, I moved to New Jersey and pursued my career in education. I have decades of experience bringing history alive to my students. Living in New Jersey has given me access to New York City and Philadelphia as well as the great state of New Jersey. Other places that hold special significance to me are Boston, New Orleans, Charleston, the wine country of California and Oregon, London, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Paris and Rome.
