About

With over 22 years of experience in public education as a licensed media specialist and a background in history, I have built a career around storytelling, teaching, and sparking curiosity.  I’ve always believed that the best learning happens through meaningful experiences – whether it’s in the pages of a book or while exploring the world firsthand.  Now, as a professional tour director, I bring that same passion to life by guiding travelers through unforgettable journeys across the United States and beyond.  I love inspiring people through educational moments, connecting them to culture, history, and place in a way that’s both joyful and impactful.  Whether I’m sharing a powerful story, organizing a flawless itinerary, or helping families create lifelong memories, I lead with heart, energy, and a deep commitment to making every adventure magical.

Hobbies & Interests
When I'm not leading an adventure, you'll find me nose-deep in a book, exploring the fascinating worlds of history, culture, and religion. I'm happiest outdoors - hiking, camping, or boating with my family - and I never miss a chance to turn our everyday moments into treasured memories through photos and stories. That said give me a culturally rich city, a world-class museum, or a great Broadway show, and I'm equally in my element. Whether it's a passport stamp, a campfire under the stars, or curtain call in a historical theater, I believe every experience has a story worth saving!

Testimonials

"She was fantastic and her years of experience as a teacher shined through"

"If I could give her an 11, then I would.  All of my course leaders have been good.  She was amazing.  It was truly and interactive learning time with her.  She had activities at each of the sites to make them meaningful and memorable.  It was HOT last week, but she kept them engaged.  I would want her as my course leader EVERY TIME in the future.  She should be able to give other course leaders her good ideas."

"Moriah did an excellent job at keeping us on time and was very knowledgeable.  She related very well with the students."

"She was incredibly helpful as we navigated DC.  I was a first time trip leader and Moriah was an amazing asset.  She was flexible and responsive to the students/groups need.  She had so many activities for the kids to keep them engaged.  It was great!"
