About

I’m an international mutt! Stockholm native by Russian & Austrian parents, married an Irish & Portuguese American, grew up in Sweden, lived in southern France (Pays Basque) and reside in Hudson Valley, NY since 2004.
I speak five languages with varying degrees of linguistic comprehension, body language and facial expression make up the missing verbiage.

During my off-tour time, I work as a Swedish translator and editor for Amazon’s Swedish linguistic team. I also translate fictional books for a publishing company. Lastly, I occasionally work for the U.S. State Department as a Swedish Linguist and Culture Specialist. Staying busy is one of my favorite things!

Hobbies & Interests

Doing a lot of DIY projects in my colonial home, learning new skills by using my hands to create things, crafting! Constant focus on evolving and learning to be a better and more empathetic human. +30 years of going to San Fermin, Pamplona to meet my friends and have fun!
