I’m a first year working tour director with six completed tours, building on a background in live events, performance environments, and student-facing operations. I understand that successful group travel depends on clear communication, calm decision-making, and careful logistics that guests rarely need to see.
This season, I’ve led both planned and last-minute assignments, including tours accepted with limited preparation time. I’m comfortable learning an itinerary quickly, managing group energy, communicating with students and adults, and keeping the experience moving when plans change.
Years of traveling as a hockey dad also prepared me well for student travel: early mornings, late nights, tight turnarounds, changing plans, and the realities of moving young people from place to place. I bring patience, adaptability, a strong sense of responsibility, and a steady presence on the road.
I’m interested in building long-term relationships with tour operators, expanding my destination experience, and taking on a consistent calendar of student and adult tours. I’m also particularly effective when an operator needs reliable coverage with limited lead time.
When I’m not traveling, I enjoy spending time with my family, warmer weather, and a good science fiction novel.
