I am an endlessly curious person who loves to explore new ideas, new cultures and new ways of thinking.  I relish the gift of travel as it opens your mind to the sheer diversity of the human experience.    I also enjoy all types of animals and have been a dog and a cat lover for many years.  I enjoy exploring my hometown of Washington DC, but I’ve also lived in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia and London.  I’ve traveled extensively through Europe, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.  My favorite places to visit are Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, the Greek Islands, the Netherlands and the American Southwest and West Coast. I am trying to get fluent in Spanish but I’m not quite there yet.  I meditate everyday and love to cook and experiment with new recipes. I have 2 daughters and I live with my partner Stephen in the Capitol Hill East neighborhood of DC.
