I would welcome from anybody, but especially Tour Operators😉, a conversation why I believe travel is so important and why on all my tours (both student and adults) I hope  to plant a seed to explore the world beyond the landmarks and beautiful nature. Connecting the people, the culture and the in-depth knowledge of the locations through stories, visuals and personal conversations with the guests, all help me to create unexpected experiences and life long memories!  Let’s have that conversation! 

Born and raised in the Netherlands, Dutch Citizen with an EU passport and live in the USA as a Greencard holder. I can legally work in the USA, European Union and the Schengen Area. I consider both the Netherlands and the USA home.

I had the opportunity in my first year of college, to work with the inner-city youth of Chicago (Cabrini Green, the US most dangerous housing project at the time). It was a life changingung experience. I realized how sheltered I had grown up and it urged me to travel and explore the world.  After college I worked in a group home for the intellectually challenged for several years, saved all my money and after a few years sold all my belongings so I could travel and explore the world. And so many years later, I still do just that!
