* Organized/Time Management: I was impressed with how organized May was. All the individual welcome kits were presented in a way so that our kit was easy to find. I was especially impressed with the folded miniature paper itinerary she created. This very small itinerary had each day of the tour with every stop listed. This helped keep everyone on track each day and the paper itinerary stored easily in our nametag pockets. This kept the itinerary handy and harder to lose. She made sure everyone was able to keep to the schedules so that we had time to see all the sights we were scheduled to see, which allowed us to make extra photo stops along the way.

* As an organizer of at least thirty Irish Pub tours I understand the effort and dedication it takes to effectively shepherd a large group of people through a multi-day trip. You need to make sure they're where they should be safely and on time, all the while ensuring they are enjoying themselves. As our tour director on a recent trip to Colorado May Forshee did this expertly. She first provided us with a handy pamphlet containing a synopsis of daily activities. Your day at a glance....genius! May is a master of entertaining during long coach rides, we sang songs, played games and trivia. She shared interesting and educational facts at each destination. When a woman passenger fell and insisted she was fine, May made sure she was seen by a doctor to have the proper tests. May genuinely cares about her guests. She works very hard to encourage camaraderie and interaction between travelers. Her laugh is contagious and I would recommend her as an excellent guide on any tour.

* A major part of any trip is the person(s) involved in leading the tour. A good guide can really make the trip exceptional. May shared her knowledge of the area with us in interesting and fun ways. The routes between destinations were kept lively with games, conversations, and singing. A first for us was a small foldable handout of each day’s itinerary that easily fit in our nametag holder.
