Matt was born and raised on Long Island, New York but after a pandemic move now resides upstate in the snowy city of Rochester. A Psychology grad from SUNY Geneseo, Matt bopped around careers for a few years before coming across the group tour industry 6 years ago and hasn’t looked back since. Equally at home in the big city as in the rugged outdoors, he has lead tours through both the great metropolises of the Northeast US and Eastern Canada, as well as through the great outdoors of the Western national parks and Canadian Rockies. Matt loves bringing travelers to new and unfamiliar destinations with the goal of sparking a new understanding and appreciation for the great mosaic of cultures that makes up humanity. A lover of hobbits, horror movies, and hiking trails, He’s been known to gasp mid sentence when giving commentary to point out dogs walking by and despite TLC’s advice, he is often chasing waterfalls when he travels.
