My name is Adam and I am an award-winning, qualified tour guide with 16 years experience leading tours in London.

I’m qualified as a Westminster Guide (with distinction) and since 2019 I’ve been a visiting lecturer in tour guiding at the University of Westminster. I’m a former national newspaper arts journalist and in my spare time I play guitar and sing and buy too many records.

Virtual Tour Experience

Back in March 2020 I turned my tour-guiding business to face the virtual market. As a lecturer in tour guiding at the University of Westminster (on the Westminster Guides course) I worked with the 2019/20 student intake on preparing them for their tour guiding exams in a virtual format. It has been a surprising (!) amount of fun to switch to the virtual world - and so rewarding to make contact with people during the pandemic. I keep finding myself saying this: the tours may be virtual, but the friends I am making are real.
