Dear Pepe

I was a bit “iffy” about watching the Olympic Park but I had paid and it was raining!  How wrong I was and how interesting you made it.  Being a “Surrey” person I had no idea of what work went into cleaning it all up,  even to the extent of having to clean the mud.  The games were a triumph because of the amount of volunteers who were willing to help and because it was undertaken with “legacy” being a keyword behind all the buildings.  I do hope that it is maintained and used and it does help bridge the gap in death rates – that was shocking when you told us that.

Anyway, thank you and we will look forward to this week’s offerings.

Just a quick email to add to the chorus of thanks to you and all the guides for two brilliant seasons of tours, they have been a lockdown highlight and such a welcome change from zoom conference calls....it has been good to feel part of a virtual community too.  I'll definitely sign up for season 3 in the autumn. It has been great to revisit Oxford, York, Whitby, Venice and Rome as well as appreciating how much London has to offer, I feel inspired to get out there and explore!
