Wherever we go, the chance for joy, whole orchards of amazement— one more reason to always travel with our pockets full of exclamation marks, so we might scatter them for others like apple seeds.

About

I left the classroom behind, but not the learning!

As an educator of 13 years, it was time for me to take my skills on the road. I started traveling after finishing high school, and between several stints working and teaching abroad, along with spending as many vacations as possible somewhere else in the world, my wanderlust has never left me. I’ve been traveling the world for 20+ years, eager to learn new things, meet new people, and share experiences with others.

During my time as a teacher, I acquired skills in leadership, organizational processes, and public speaking that serve me beyond the classroom. As a traveler, I am a curious, flexible problem-solver who is able to adapt to changing circumstances as they arise.

I am confident in my ability to provide an engaging experience to guests and make a positive contribution to your organization!

Hobbies & Interests
When I’m not guiding, I like to combine my two favorite hobbies of traveling and reading by bringing books along on my trips and putting them in seatback pockets, never to be touched until they’re removed at the end of the flight. When I’m not in the skies or on the road, I can be found swimming laps, cooking, baking, or hiking local trails with my husband and our dog.

Testimonials

ALL OF IT WAS UNBELIEVABLY MAGICAL!!!! The best thing and the key to the trip was KIM! SHE WAS THE PERFECT FIT FOR OUR STUDENTS AND FOR THE CHAPERONES. She is knowledgable about so much and had so many wonderful and educational stories!! She was the perfect match for our students. -Dayle F.C., 2024

Kim was an absolute treasure for our group. She was helpful, organized, forward-thinking and was so caring and patient with our young travelers. While I know that she has made countless trips to DC and has been asked the same questions so many times, her passion for young people shined through as she worked to make this trip special for all of our 8th graders. We are so thankful for Kim! -Matt Outlaw, Superintendent, Brighton Area Schools, 2024

Kim was the absolute perfect guide for our tour of Washington DC and NYC with more than 40 8th graders! She is highly motivated, kind, fun, and resilient. I was so impressed with Kim's knowledge of all the areas we toured, her ability to relate to the kids, and her composure when things didn't go according to plan. I highly recommend Kim and hope to have her as a guide again soon! Jen T., 2024

An outstanding tour of the Christmas markets: I had been looking forward to visiting Europe’s Christmas markets for a long time. Our tour guide, Kim, made this one of my most enjoyable and relaxing trips by going above and beyond what most tour guides would do. From initial contact, to superb coordination, the excellent knowledge and wonderful humor of our guide the trip was extremely well organized and ran smoothly keeping our interests and comfort of the participants (seniors) in mind. Kim’s knowledge of each town we visited was outstanding. Having a guide who was fluent in German and English took a lot of stress off because she navigated us with seemingly effortless ease. Kim also went above and beyond by navigating the train system saving us money and locating restaurants giving us a more authentic experience than we would have had on our own. I would highly recommend Kim as a tour guide and/or curator for a more complex trip such as ours. We were able to visit five markets in a week which included Frankfurt, Munich, Nuremberg, Heidelberg, and Salzburg. Thank you Kim for coordinating an outstanding trip and we look forward to booking another trip with you very soon. Rhea A., 2022

An exceptional tour guide: This was by far one of the best tours I have ever taken!  We were warmly welcomed by Kim, who has a wonderful personality. She made the tour feel like a family outing.  Kim is very knowledgeable and speaks many languages.  I had been looking forward to visiting the Christmas markets for years and the tour she put together was magical. I will definitely book a tour with her again! Lynn E., 2022
