Aloha,
I am a New York transplant living in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The only way to describe the Garden Isle of Kauai is paradise. Not a day goes by without some sort of interaction with nature. Whether it be paddle boarding, swimming in the surf or hiking our amazing majestic mountain trails here on the North Shore With my husband and two dogs.
Back in New York I spent nine years working for an international travel company. Some of that time was spent as a travel escort working with large corporations making sure that their incentive travel went off without a hitch.
I would travel with these clients to their destinations, working with hotel GM’s, banquet managers, recreation directors, tour directors and the client leaders to make sure the events were seamless. Since moving to Hawaii I’ve parlayed that skill set into becoming a tour director.
Although I love to show off Hawaii’s abundant beauty I am equally as passionate about sharing experiences with people through our amazing cities both here on the mainland of the United States as well as Europe. (I am definitely in Italy junkie!)
Europe is always tugging at my heart for a return trip. I have no problem making the trip for any type of European adventure.
My strong points are public speaking. Pivoting with ease to take care of critical needs as necessary. And basically staying one step ahead of everything that’s going on in my life and those that I’m responsible for. I’m good natured and much quicker to smile then get flustered. Years as a yoga teacher and therapist has taught me an immense amount of self-control and compassion. But I do believe it’s something I had all along and Yoga just allows me to bring it more to the surface. I am immensely interested in people of all walks of life. Growing up in a very diverse area has given me the privilege of realizing we all live very different lives, and how interesting it can be to learn about each other.
My closest friends have nicknamed me “Let’s Go Nancy” because I have always been the catalyst when it comes to adventure.
Mahalo nui loa for reading about me, and I look forward to the day we connect!
Nancy
