Hello! My name is Inês and I have been a licensed guide in Portugal since 2008. I fall in love with my city, Lisbon, every single day, and I love sharing that love with others.
I have been born and raised here and I am so happy to have found my calling: guiding! Guiding is not a job but rather a passion and a life-style. I am grateful for the opportunity of learning and sharing my knowledge and love for my city and country.
I have started working as a national guide in Portugal, then I went on touring mostly in Europe (Spain, France, Italy) as tour manager, and finally in 2017 I decided to stay locally and specialize even more in my city and its surroundings. I own a minivan that I use for private tours, I work with groups, and I like creating new itineraries, adapted to the guests’ interests. Throughout the years I have worked with several local and foreign travelling agencies as well as booking platforms, and the ones I have worked with more often in the past couple of years for in-person tours were ToursByLocals and Odysseys.
What I mostly love about what I do is that it is interesting, challenging, and I get to meet a lot of people from all over the world with whom I can learn so much. I believe travelling fosters understanding between people and it is a way for peace.
