Travel has been a part of my life since I was young, and I have always strived to work in some capacity within the travel industry. My journalism background led me to write and create travel itineraries based on my travels in Latin America, specifically Chile, where I lived for 15 years. The pandemic brought me back to the USA and forced me to rethink my involvement with the travel industry. The idea of working as a guide/tour director came up, and I thought it would be a great way to return to travel and bring others with me. It’s been two years, and it’s one of the best things I decided to do. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
I have led large-group students, small-group adults, and family-style tours throughout the USA, covering historical destinations such as Washington DC, NYC, and our beautiful national parks throughout the Southwest. I am highly motivated, adaptable, and passionate about travel. I’m a quick learner and strive to connect with my passengers to create memorable trips. I would love to see how being a Guide/Tour director can continue to take me around the world.
One of the things I love most about being a guide or Tour director is seeing the reactions on my passengers’ faces when they see a destination they have been dreaming about for the first time. It motivates me to continue sharing stories and creating memories for them, hopefully inspiring them to continue seeing the world.
