I’m a Native New Yorker and I grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Today I’m a proud Harlem Resident, Professional Foodie, and Tremendous Laugher. I consider myself a food professional before a tour guide, but I got into leading tours because I love to share my hometown with the world and to get deep dives of my favorite topics for all forms of storytelling.
Most days I get to celebrate the things I love the most and work with some of the best people while I do it. I’ve worked with bars and restaurants to expand their catering operations and enhance their social events and menu planning to attract new neighbors to their establishments. I’ve written copy for CPG companies trying to express their voice and promote their products online. I’ve helped a private chef and food personality develop her brand, post regular blogs, create emails that get opened, compose and complete a cookbook proposal, produce on-camera and in-person events, and manage her social media channels. Most recently, I’ve worked with a long-standing family business to help launch a new product line by conducting market research, hosting product preview events, creating recipe pairings, and partnering with complementary brands.
I’ve got about 20 years of experience in service and hospitality, with most of that focused in food. I’ve been paid for my writing abilities since I was in college, and I’ve been doing comedy for as many years as I’ve been running food tours. I love to challenge myself and others and test the limits of people’s expectations, to deliver unforgettable experiences through culinary storytelling. I would love to learn more about what you’re working on and to see if there’s a way for us to collaborate on something awesome!
