I truly love my job and have an intense passion for what I do. I am energetic, passionate about history and culture, and professional in everything I do. I gain tremendous joy by inspiring travelers to explore the world (and by telling horrifically bad jokes). As a native Australian, I have been incredibly fortunate to travel everywhere from mountains and monoliths to the Great Barrier Reef. (Nemo really is there if you look closely!) I’ve seen some amazing parts of the world and am proud to now call historic Roosevelt Island in NYC my home. Since 2011, I have led tours for both students and adults from across the world and have been fortunate enough to visit destinations such as Canada, Africa, India, Oceania, New Zealand, Australia, and of course, the great USA.
One of the things I find most rewarding when traveling is engaging in conversations with locals about their culture, traditions and daily routines. It is important to show our posterity how the multitude of histories and cultures have intertwined to create this great nation. My desire is to inspire today’s tourist to come away from their tour with not only treasured memories but changed outlook on life to leave the world a better place.
I am a Green Card holder as a permanent resident.
