About

I’m a passionate, professional tour guide working to broaden the understanding of the human experience through engaging tours and thoughtful storytelling.

Every path I have taken has been full of stepping stones leading me to this happy place: Summer Camp Counselor, Preschool Teacher, Recreation Programs & Events Planner, Non-Profit Executive Director, Military Spouse, National & International Traveler, Homeschool Parent & Leader…every single one of those experiences has contributed to where I am today. 

In addition to working as a Tour Guide and Director for various Tour Operators, I started my own tour company in the summer of 2020. My core audience is military families, which is an amazing customer pool as they are living locally but are not local. I also work with Amazon teams, private high-end travelers, homeschool groups, and a variety of other audiences.

I specialize in Old Town Alexandra, Virginia and the greater Washington, DC region, including being National Cathedral Certified. I have my New York City license. I also enjoy guiding in Philadelphia and Boston.

I grew-up in Monterey, California and lived there for a total of 22 years. I also spent a good part of my life in the Lake Tahoe Region. In addition, I have visited all 50 States and close to 100 National Parks. I lived in Newport, Rhode Island for one year and traveled extensively in New England during that time. I lived in Germany and explored a great deal of Europe over the those two years. I lived in North Carolina for 7 years and have now lived on the DC region for 7 years.

I’m on a mission to visit and tour every state capitol building. So far, I’ve checked off California, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Colorado, Hawaii, and Virginia — and I’m just getting started!

Virtual Tour Experience

I first gave virtual tours in September of 2020. Primarily I did this through a company that provided Business to Business tours to subscribing multinational corporations. I have also provided a virtual tour to a 5th grade class, and held a live Zoom program for 250 young people around the United States about the Presidential Inauguration. None of my virtual programs have been recorded as the intent in all cases was for them to be live and interactive. I do make videos for various Social Media Platforms if you'd like to see me on camera, and I'm also including a video for a Podcast I was featured on in October of 2023.
