It’s taken me a while, but I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up! With my desire to travel and my love of around people, being a Tour Director seems like a natural fit for me. And since I’m a late bloomer, I bring years of travel experience and people skills with me. For example, working as a cruise staff hostess, not only did I become familiar with our ports of call, I also learned how to deal with the very particular needs of vacationing passengers. More recently as Tournament Director for the Amateur Pickleball Association, I ran tournaments all over the country nearly every weekend and dealt with every aspect of running the tournaments which involved handling groups of 100 players or more. My strong points are: I enjoy people and try to find ways of connecting with them, I’m a problem solver, I have stamina and I’m organized. My daughter is grown and I have no pets so I am flexible and ready to go!
