About

In 2026, I’ll celebrate my 10th season as a Tour Director and Guide! In November 2013, a friend said something at the end of a girls’ trip that changed my life forever: “You are a great tour guide.” She had no idea that I was desperately searching for a new career path, and her words struck me like a bolt of lightning! When I returned home, I immediately searched “how to become a tour director” and found ITMI. By spring 2014, I had earned my certification—and my tour calendar was full.

Career experts often say you should do what you loved as a child. During my summers, I was always off to camps, activities, and adventures. I’m still that same kid at heart—exploring the world, only now I bring a motorcoach full of people along for the ride!

Fun Fact!
Things that only happen growing up in Memphis, Tennessee: Elvis asked my grandfather to paint his Cadillac pink. My father played drums for Johnny Cash one night during a local fair. I heard Jerry Lee Lewis play piano in The Peabody Hotel several times. I'm guessing that's how those ducks learned to waddle down that red carpet with a pep in their steps!
Hobbies & Interests
I'm a Big Music Lover! I can find a song and turn it into fun for any destination—even Chicken, Alaska! Try doing "The Chicken Dance" on a motorcoach. Or listen to a classic—"Fishin' For Chicken" by Hobo Jim, Alaska's official balladeer. You'll never guess what I play going to North Pole's Santa Claus House? Hint: It's not about a grandma or her reindeer, but it does involve a moose!
