Hi, I’m Kimberly! For me, travel is about connection – connecting people to cultures, landscapes, and each other. After a successful career as an executive leading strategy and customer experience, I am now channeling those skills into my true passion: guiding travelers on unforgettable journeys. I bring a proven record of success in delivering exceptional client service, managing complex operations, and leading diverse teams.
Having traveled to more than 55 countries and 49 states, I love visiting dynamic environments, balancing logistics and organization, while absorbing the wonder and sense of place. I thrive on connecting people to cultures through food, history, and storytelling. As a Tour Director, I create seamless journeys where travelers don’t just see the destination—they feel it, taste it, and live it. Known for being collaborative, resourceful, and calm under pressure, I will ensure every traveler feels supported, inspired, and immersed in their experience.
Through my life experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of several destinations and abroad. I’m eager to share this knowledge and passion with tour guests, helping them experience not just the sights, but the stories and sense of place that make each destination truly memorable.
- Living in Washington, D.C. for fifteen years, I’ve developed a deep knowledge of the city’s history, culture, and neighborhoods, as well as nearby Virginia sites like Alexandria and Charlottesville that tell the story of America’s beginnings.
- Frequent visits to New York City and Philadelphia have strengthened my understanding of their pivotal roles in shaping the nation’s identity.
- My love of music has taken me to New Orleans Jazz Festivals over ten times and spending summers near Memphis have connected me to the heart of American music and culture.
- San Francisco was my hometown for nine years and my love for adventure (hiking and skiing) brought me to the country’s great National Parks again and again—Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, the Tetons, and Yellowstone—have given me a deep appreciation for the diversity and spirit of the American west.
- Recent international destinations include hiking the iconic Tour du Mont Blanc, exploring the history of Easter Island (Rapa Nui), and curating unique experiences like cider tastings in Spain’s Basque Country and wine tastings in Rioja. In Andalusia Spain, I planned an itinerary and experienced the awe-inspiring Easter processions of Semana Santa across the region.
